The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देहत्वपरिरूढत्वाच्चिद्धेम्ना विस्मृतात्मना ।
मिथ्यानुभूताऽविद्या तु शुद्धा कटकतामिता ॥ १० ॥

dehatvaparirūḍhatvācciddhemnā vismṛtātmanā |
mithyānubhūtā'vidyā tu śuddhā kaṭakatāmitā || 10 ||

As the pure Spirit taking the form of the vital breath, performs the functions of the body;so the mind being reborn in a new body, is employed in all the functions of the same body.
