Verse 4.18.9

परस्परं संमिलतां सर्गाणां रूढभाविनाम् ।
देहसत्ता भृशं रूढा देहाभावस्तु विस्मृतिः ॥ ९ ॥

parasparaṃ saṃmilatāṃ sargāṇāṃ rūḍhabhāvinām |
dehasattā bhṛśaṃ rūḍhā dehābhāvastu vismṛtiḥ || 9 ||

Thus every regeneration of the mind in a new life, is accompanied with its concomitant desires, and their results. The new life is attended with its proper body, unless the mind has lost its reminiscence.
