The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स तमश्वमुपादाय पार्थिवं समुवाच ह ।
सोच्चैःश्रवा इव क्षीरसागरो मरुतां पतिम् ॥ ३५ ॥

sa tamaśvamupādāya pārthivaṃ samuvāca ha |
soccaiḥśravā iva kṣīrasāgaro marutāṃ patim || 35 ||

The chieftain brought the horse before the king and said this horse my lord! is a match for the Uchcha Srava, who was produced from the milky ocean, and flies with the swiftness of the mind.
