The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.90.6

ततस्तौ राजभरतौ प्रत्यूचतुरिदं वचः ।
सुदुर्मती युवां याभ्यां क्षपितं दुश्चरं तपः ॥ ६ ॥

tatastau rājabharatau pratyūcaturidaṃ vacaḥ |
sudurmatī yuvāṃ yābhyāṃ kṣapitaṃ duścaraṃ tapaḥ || 6 ||

Then they both replied to the king and his venerable sage, saying,—"what fools must ye be, to have thus wasted your imprecation, the great gain of your devotion, on our devoted heads.
