The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.86.11

दिनातपातापितयोरिन्दुः कुमुदयोरिव ।
आजगाम तमुद्देशं यत्र तौ विप्रदंपती ॥ ११ ॥

dinātapātāpitayorinduḥ kumudayoriva |
ājagāma tamuddeśaṃ yatra tau vipradaṃpatī || 11 ||

The god advanced towards the parching pair, with the cooling moon-beams on his forehead; as when that luminary casts her dewy light on the dried trees and scorched lotuses, under the burning sun beams of a summer day.
