The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तपत्येकश्चिदादित्यो रात्रिंदिवमतन्द्रितः ।
अन्तर्बहिः शिलाद्यन्तरप्यनस्तमयोदयः ॥ ३० ॥

tapatyekaścidādityo rātriṃdivamatandritaḥ |
antarbahiḥ śilādyantarapyanastamayodayaḥ || 30 ||

The sun of the intellect, shines by day and night without setting or sleeping; It shines in the bosom even of hard stones, without being clouded or having its rise or fall.
