स्वतोबीजफला विप्रुड् यथा बीजं पुनर्भवेत् ।
तथा चिच्चेत्यचित्तादि त्यक्त्वा स्वस्था न तिष्ठति ॥ ३१ ॥

svatobījaphalā vipruḍ yathā bījaṃ punarbhavet |
tathā ciccetyacittādi tyaktvā svasthā na tiṣṭhati || 31 ||

As the seed produces the fruit, and the same contains the seed in itself; so the intellect producing the mind and its thoughts can not get rid of them; but is contained in, and reproduced by them in successive transmigrations.
