The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.67.30

बीजमङ्कुरपत्रादियुक्त्या यद्वत्फलं भवेत् ।
चिन्मात्रं चित्तजीवादियुक्त्या तद्वन्मनो भवेत् ॥ ३० ॥

bījamaṅkurapatrādiyuktyā yadvatphalaṃ bhavet |
cinmātraṃ cittajīvādiyuktyā tadvanmano bhavet || 30 ||

These sensations are conveyed to the mind, and thence again to the living soul and intellect, in the same manner as the roots supply the sap to the stem, and thence to the branches, and lastly to the fruits of trees.
