The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मत्तस्त्रीकन्धरावृत्तलीलान्दोलितकुण्डलम् ।
प्रवृत्तपादसंपातप्रोल्लसत्पुष्पकर्दमम् ॥ ९ ॥

mattastrīkandharāvṛttalīlāndolitakuṇḍalam |
pravṛttapādasaṃpātaprollasatpuṣpakardamam || 9 ||

The ground also was strewn over with rosy flowers, by foot-falls of dancers with their reddish soles; and the pendant earrings of ballet girls, which flourished with the oscillation of their heads and shoulders, waved in the air like flowers of gold.
