The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.48.7

रेजुः कनकनाराचराजयो व्योम्नि सस्वनाः ।
रसन्त्यः कल्पवातार्ताः पतन्त्य इव तारकाः ॥ ७ ॥

rejuḥ kanakanārācarājayo vyomni sasvanāḥ |
rasantyaḥ kalpavātārtāḥ patantya iva tārakāḥ || 7 ||

Others begirt with gold, flew hissing as if blown by the winds in the air, and after shining as stars in the sky, fell as blazing meteors on the ground.
