The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विदूरथाच्छरासारा अजस्रमभिनिर्ययुः ।
अब्धेरिव पयःपूराः सूर्यादिव मरीचयः ॥ ८ ॥

vidūrathāccharāsārā ajasramabhiniryayuḥ |
abdheriva payaḥpūrāḥ sūryādiva marīcayaḥ || 8 ||

Showers of shafts poured forth incessantly from the hands of Viduratha, like the ceaseless torrents of rivers or billows of the sea, and the endless radiation of solar rays.
