The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.44.40

अनन्याः स्वात्मनस्तस्य तेनानवयवा इव ।
यथास्थितमिदं विश्वं निजभावक्रमोदितम् ॥ ४० ॥

ananyāḥ svātmanastasya tenānavayavā iva |
yathāsthitamidaṃ viśvaṃ nijabhāvakramoditam || 40 ||

And as there is no change or division of one's own soul, so there is no partition or variation of the Supreme Spirit. It is according to the ideas in our minds, that we view things in their different aspects before us.
