The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रतिभामागतमिदं व्यवहारभ्रमाततम् ।
यथेदं नाम मे जन्म तथेक्ष्वाकुकुलं मम ॥ ३७ ॥

pratibhāmāgatamidaṃ vyavahārabhramātatam |
yathedaṃ nāma me janma tathekṣvākukulaṃ mama || 37 ||

It is a false notion of your mind, which you have gained by your habitual mode of thinking, that you are born in your present state, of the race of Ixaku.
