The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.28.17

आदृश्ये ग्रामलोकेन प्रेक्षमाणे पुरोगिरिम् ।
चुम्बिताकाशकुहरं संस्पृष्टादित्यमण्डलम् ॥ १७ ॥

ādṛśye grāmalokena prekṣamāṇe purogirim |
cumbitākāśakuharaṃ saṃspṛṣṭādityamaṇḍalam || 17 ||

Being unseen by the village people, they viewed the mountain which stood before them, kissing the vault of heaven, and touching the orb of the sun with its lofty peaks.
