The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.24.3

आह्लादकमलं सौम्यं शून्यताम्भोनिमज्जनात् ।
अत्यन्तशुद्धं गम्भीरं प्रसन्नमपि सज्जनात् ॥ ३ ॥

āhlādakamalaṃ saumyaṃ śūnyatāmbhonimajjanāt |
atyantaśuddhaṃ gambhīraṃ prasannamapi sajjanāt || 3 ||

All delightsome and pleasant was the vast Ocean of vacuity, into which they dived, and which afforded them a delight far greater in its purity, than what is derived from the company of the virtuous.
