The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यतो जगदुदेतीव नित्यानुदितरूप्यपि ।
विभिन्नवदिवाभिन्नं तद्रूपं परमार्थकम् ॥ ४८ ॥

yato jagadudetīva nityānuditarūpyapi |
vibhinnavadivābhinnaṃ tadrūpaṃ paramārthakam || 48 ||

He who manifests this world to us, and keeps himself hidden from view, be he the same with or distinct from the world, is the form of the Supreme.
