The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स एवान्यतयोदेति यत्पदार्थशतभ्रमैः ।
कटकाङ्गदकेयूरनूपुरैरिव काञ्चनम् ॥ ७० ॥

sa evānyatayodeti yatpadārthaśatabhramaiḥ |
kaṭakāṅgadakeyūranūpurairiva kāñcanam || 70 ||

It is he that exhibits himself otherwise than what he is, in hundreds of different shapes to our mistaken minds, as the substance of gold is made to appear to our view in the various forms of bracelets, armlets, and a hundred other sorts of trinkets.
