The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगन्नाम्नोऽस्य दृश्यस्य स्वसत्तासंभवं विना ।
बुध्यते परमं तत्त्वं न कदाचन केनचित् ॥ ३१ ॥

jagannāmno'sya dṛśyasya svasattāsaṃbhavaṃ vinā |
budhyate paramaṃ tattvaṃ na kadācana kenacit || 31 ||

No body has ever conceived this transcendent verity in himself, who has not at the same time been convinced of the impossibility of the existence of the visible world.
