The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.7.32

श्रीराम उवाच ।
इयतो दृश्यजातस्य ब्रह्माण्डस्य जगत्स्थितेः ।
मुने कथमसत्तास्ति क्व मेरुः सर्षपोदरे ॥ ३२ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
iyato dṛśyajātasya brahmāṇḍasya jagatsthiteḥ |
mune kathamasattāsti kva meruḥ sarṣapodare || 32 ||

Rama rejoined:—Tell me, O sage! how the existence of so many extensive worlds composing the visible Universe, can be thought of as unreal, or comprised in the chinmatram (or minutiae of the divine mind), as the mount Meru in the sesamum seed.
