The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीब्रह्मोवाच ।
गुरुं वाल्मीकिमत्राशु प्रार्थयस्व प्रयत्नतः ।
तेनेदं यत्समारब्धं रामायणमनिन्दितम् ॥ ९ ॥

śrībrahmovāca |
guruṃ vālmīkimatrāśu prārthayasva prayatnataḥ |
tenedaṃ yatsamārabdhaṃ rāmāyaṇamaninditam || 9 ||
