The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 5.9

निषसाद च पत्रखोरवत्यां भुवि वैदूर्यनिकाशशाद्वलायाम् ।
जगतः प्रभवव्ययौ विचिन्त्य मनसश्च स्थितिमार्गमाललम्बे ॥ ९ ॥

niṣasāda ca patrakhoravatyāṃ bhuvi vaidūryanikāśaśādvalāyām |
jagataḥ prabhavavyayau vicintya manasaśca sthitimārgamālalambe || 9 ||

There he sat down on the ground covered with leaves, and with its young grass bright like lapis lazuli; and, meditating on the origin and destruction of the world, he laid hold of the path that leads to firmness of mind.
