This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 89.74

तमतिमिरपटलमथनं पुत्रं बुद्धस्य राहुलं नाम ।
सर्वाश्रवप्रहीनं वन्दथ शिरसा च मनसा च ॥ ७४ ॥

tamatimirapaṭalamathanaṃ putraṃ buddhasya rāhulaṃ nāma |
sarvāśravaprahīnaṃ vandatha śirasā ca manasā ca || 74 ||

With head and heart make obeisance to this son of the Buddha, named Rahula, who has rent the veil of darkness and rid himself of all the ashravas. (74)
