This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.313

सर्वे आसन्नं पश्यन्ति लोकनाथं प्रभंकरं ।
न कश्चिद् दूरे संजाने व्याममात्रे यथा स्थितं ॥ ३१३ ॥

sarve āsannaṃ paśyanti lokanāthaṃ prabhaṃkaraṃ |
na kaścid dūre saṃjāne vyāmamātre yathā sthitaṃ || 313 ||

All beheld him seated there, the light-bringing Saviour of the world. No one perceived him standing at a distance, even of a fathom’s length. (313)
