The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ग्रहीतुमर्चां भक्तानां मानितार्थजनो मुनिः ।
तूष्णीं क्षणमिव स्थित्वा प्रोवाचानाकुलाक्षरम् ॥ ६ ॥

grahītumarcāṃ bhaktānāṃ mānitārthajano muniḥ |
tūṣṇīṃ kṣaṇamiva sthitvā provācānākulākṣaram || 6 ||

The sage after holding his silence, as long as he was adored by his reverential audience, spoke to them at last in distinct words, and wanted to know what they would now like to hear about.
