The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रशान्तसंसृतिभ्रान्तौ जने चरितमात्मनः ।
स्वयं हसति चित्तेन सत्यं समनुधावता ॥ २ ॥

praśāntasaṃsṛtibhrāntau jane caritamātmanaḥ |
svayaṃ hasati cittena satyaṃ samanudhāvatā || 2 ||

The people seemed to be smiling in their faces, by reflecting on their former errors and follies, after their coming to the light of truth.
