The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकस्य संविन्मात्रस्य पदार्थशतता तथा ।
यथेदं संविदंशस्य रूपं स्वं स्वमनुज्झतः ॥ १५ ॥

ekasya saṃvinmātrasya padārthaśatatā tathā |
yathedaṃ saṃvidaṃśasya rūpaṃ svaṃ svamanujjhataḥ || 15 ||

The one soul said:—consciousness or universal intelligence (of God), is diversified into a hundred varieties of living beings; and every portion of this general intelligence, retains the same intellection like its original, without forsaking its nature.
