The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इदमित्थमनाद्यन्तं जगत्पर्यायमात्मनि ।
ब्रह्मैकघनमाशान्तं स्थितं स्थाणुरिवाध्वनि ॥ ४८ ॥

idamitthamanādyantaṃ jagatparyāyamātmani |
brahmaikaghanamāśāntaṃ sthitaṃ sthāṇurivādhvani || 48 ||

This world is without a beginning and end, and is known to the world as soul; but in fact, one Brahma rules over all without any fixed rule, like a path without a name.
