The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

परिणामादिशब्दार्थदृशामत इहानघ ।
उपदेशार्थमुक्तीनां गन्धोऽप्येवं न विद्यते ॥ ४७ ॥

pariṇāmādiśabdārthadṛśāmata ihānagha |
upadeśārthamuktīnāṃ gandho'pyevaṃ na vidyate || 47 ||

The words permeation and diffusion, of the Divine spirit in creation; are used by the learned only, for explanation of the Omnipresence of the Deity; else there is no scent, i.e. nothing of the import of the word pervasion (of Divine essence) in all nature.
