The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आदिसर्गात्प्रभृत्येव महासत्तात्मनात्मनि ।
चिन्मात्रपरमाकाशं स्थितमेकं महात्मनः ॥ ४८ ॥

ādisargātprabhṛtyeva mahāsattātmanātmani |
cinmātraparamākāśaṃ sthitamekaṃ mahātmanaḥ || 48 ||

It is since the first creation of the world, that this great essence of the vacuous Intellect, is situated of itself, in the souls of great souled.
