The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यस्य कस्मिंश्चिदप्यर्थे क्वचिद्रसिकतास्ति नो ।
व्यवहारवतोऽप्यन्तः स विश्रान्त उदाहृतः ॥ ८ ॥

yasya kasmiṃścidapyarthe kvacidrasikatāsti no |
vyavahāravato'pyantaḥ sa viśrānta udāhṛtaḥ || 8 ||

He is said to rest and have his repose in God, who takes no delight in any earthly thing whatever; and though he is outwardly employed in discharging the duties of his life, yet his soul is fixed in his god.
