जीवतः स्वप्नसमये मृतिबोधोदयं विना ।
परलोकात्मकं जाग्रत्किंचनापि न दृश्यते ॥ ८ ॥

jīvataḥ svapnasamaye mṛtibodhodayaṃ vinā |
paralokātmakaṃ jāgratkiṃcanāpi na dṛśyate || 8 ||

The dying person that does not come to perceive the vanity of the visionary world at his death-bed can have no sight of the state of his waking (or resurrection), in the next or future world.
