The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मृतिप्रबोधसमये जाग्रत्स्वप्नः प्रशाम्यति ।
स्वप्नानुभवबोधे च शून्य एवातिभास्वरः ॥ ७ ॥

mṛtiprabodhasamaye jāgratsvapnaḥ praśāmyati |
svapnānubhavabodhe ca śūnya evātibhāsvaraḥ || 7 ||

The waking dream of the world, vanishes under its unconsciousness in death; and the consciousness of dreaming is lost, under the knowledge of its being an airy nothing.
