The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.163.24

सोऽङ्ग संवित्तिमात्रात्मा यद्यद्राज्यं महीयते ।
नकर्तृकर्मकरणं रूपं तद्वज्जगच्चितेः ॥ २४ ॥

so'ṅga saṃvittimātrātmā yadyadrājyaṃ mahīyate |
nakartṛkarmakaraṇaṃ rūpaṃ tadvajjagacciteḥ || 24 ||

This dream is no other than our consciousness of it, and the airy realms that it presents to our view for the time; so doth the Intellect show us the sight of the world, without any action or passion or instrumentality of itself.
