The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पादेनाभिहतो व्योम्नि दुर्वासा ध्यानसंस्थितः ।
गतासुरित्यविज्ञानात्तेनासौ कुपितोऽशपत् ॥ ३० ॥

pādenābhihato vyomni durvāsā dhyānasaṃsthitaḥ |
gatāsurityavijñānāttenāsau kupito'śapat || 30 ||

There strutting along in his haughty strides, he met the anchorite Durvasas sitting still in his meditative mood;and believing him to be a dead body lying on his way, he knocked it down with his feet.
