The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.150.10

मुनिरुवाच ।
ततः श्रृणु महाभाग वृत्तं चित्रं किमत्र मे ।
कथयामि समासेन सहसा मां कुरु त्वराम् ॥ १० ॥

muniruvāca |
tataḥ śrṛṇu mahābhāga vṛttaṃ citraṃ kimatra me |
kathayāmi samāsena sahasā māṃ kuru tvarām || 10 ||

The sage replied:—Hear me patiently, O fortunate man, to relate to you about this wonderful narrative. I will tell this briefly to you, but you must not be hasty about it.
