The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्यतोऽपि फलं प्राप्तं स्वप्नसत्यत्वकल्पनात् ।
स्वप्नेन सूचितमिदं फलमित्येव वेत्त्ययम् ॥ ९ ॥

anyato'pi phalaṃ prāptaṃ svapnasatyatvakalpanāt |
svapnena sūcitamidaṃ phalamityeva vettyayam || 9 ||

If one gains his object by any other means, notwithstanding his belief in the visionariness of the world; that gain is to be reckoned as a visionary one only.
