The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहो बत दुरन्तेयमभ्याससुदृढीकृता ।
अविद्या विद्यमानैव या शान्तैव न शाम्यति ॥ २८ ॥

aho bata duranteyamabhyāsasudṛḍhīkṛtā |
avidyā vidyamānaiva yā śāntaiva na śāmyati || 28 ||

Ah! that though I fix my faith on the doctrine you have preached, yet I cannot rest secure in it, so long as my ignorance reigns supreme in me.
