The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इहस्थस्य विराजोऽस्य बाह्यमाभ्यन्तरं तथा ।
अन्यजं सर्वमीक्षेऽहमिति निर्णीय तादृशम् ॥ ४८ ॥

ihasthasya virājo'sya bāhyamābhyantaraṃ tathā |
anyajaṃ sarvamīkṣe'hamiti nirṇīya tādṛśam || 48 ||

Intending then to see both the inside and outside of the Virata's body, in which I resided, I continued to mark well the process of its outer movements as also of its inner thoughts.
