The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तादृक्चन्दनमन्दारकदम्बवनमण्डितः ।
मण्डपः पुष्पराशीनां कष्टं क्व मलयो गतः ॥ ४५ ॥

tādṛkcandanamandārakadambavanamaṇḍitaḥ |
maṇḍapaḥ puṣparāśīnāṃ kaṣṭaṃ kva malayo gataḥ || 45 ||

Alas for those forest of sandal, mandara and kadamba woods which had so ornamented the earth! and woe for the flower gardens, and the happy groves of Malaya mountains!
