The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रूढमर्णवमालासु वात्यासु जलवीचिषु ।
क्रीडितं भूभृदब्धीनां तटीषु नगरीषु च ॥ १६ ॥

rūḍhamarṇavamālāsu vātyāsu jalavīciṣu |
krīḍitaṃ bhūbhṛdabdhīnāṃ taṭīṣu nagarīṣu ca || 16 ||

They knew how they mounted upon waves of seas, and rode on the back of flying wind; and how they lay on the shores of seas, and at the foot of mountains.
