The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चतुरायुधधाराग्रचूर्णनीहारधारिणः ।
विद्युद्वलयिनो वाता वेल्लितायुधवारिदाः ॥ ४ ॥

caturāyudhadhārāgracūrṇanīhāradhāriṇaḥ |
vidyudvalayino vātā vellitāyudhavāridāḥ || 4 ||

The winds blew away the clouds of weapons, which poured down torrents of missile arms, that shattered the armours of the warriors, and glittered like curling lightnings.
