Verse 7.106.42

श्रीराम उवाच ।
एवं चेत्तद्वद ब्रह्मन्कार्यकारणतादिकः ।
कथं भेदः किमायातः कथं सत्यत्वमागतः ॥ ४२ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
evaṃ cettadvada brahmankāryakāraṇatādikaḥ |
kathaṃ bhedaḥ kimāyātaḥ kathaṃ satyatvamāgataḥ || 42 ||

Rama rejoined:—If so it be as you say, that the Lord is neither the reflector nor reflection, and neither the viewer nor the view (i.e. if he is neither the prototype nor its likeness, and neither the subjective nor objective); then say what is the difference between the cause and effect, what is the source of all these, and if they are unreal why do they appear as realities?
