The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहं वेदनमात्रात्मा कानि देहेन्द्रियाणि मे ।
लब्धात्मानमिति स्वच्छं प्रविलुम्पन्ति नापदः ॥ २२ ॥

ahaṃ vedanamātrātmā kāni dehendriyāṇi me |
labdhātmānamiti svacchaṃ pravilumpanti nāpadaḥ || 22 ||

The knowledge that I am the intelligent soul, and the bodily senses are not essential to me; is what leads me to attain to the state of pure spirituality, which neither death nor misery can deprive me of.
