The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उद्दालीभूतमृद्वङ्गमज्जदन्तःकृमिव्रजम् ।
क्वचिदुद्भवदङ्गादिमूलं जलनिमज्जनम् ॥ २१ ॥

uddālībhūtamṛdvaṅgamajjadantaḥkṛmivrajam |
kvacidudbhavadaṅgādimūlaṃ jalanimajjanam || 21 ||

I have seen swarms of weak insects, to be crushed to death under the feet of men; and many diving and swimming and skimming in the waters below, and others to be born and growing therein.
