The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
भूपीठेन सता तत्र मया तदनु मानव ।
अनुभूतं नदनदीस्वसंवेदनसंस्थितेः ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
bhūpīṭhena satā tatra mayā tadanu mānava |
anubhūtaṃ nadanadīsvasaṃvedanasaṃsthiteḥ || 1 ||

Vasishtha related:—Hear ye men, what I conceived afterwards in my consciousness, as I had been looking in my form of the earth, and considered the rivers running in my body.
