The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.83.29

न चेतति क्वचित्किंचित्कश्चिच्चेत्यात्मभावतः ।
तेन चेतापि नास्तीव मौनमेवावशिष्यते ॥ २९ ॥

na cetati kvacitkiṃcitkaściccetyātmabhāvataḥ |
tena cetāpi nāstīva maunamevāvaśiṣyate || 29 ||

There is nothing that ever thinks of anything, nor aught whatever which is thought of or object thereof of its own nature; therefore there is nothing that thinks or reflects, but all is quite rest and silence.
