The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

धगद्धगिति गायद्भिर्ज्वालाजालैर्जगद्गतैः ।
आसीद्रक्तांशुकैः कीर्णं संध्याभ्रैरिव वा नभः ॥ ३५ ॥

dhagaddhagiti gāyadbhirjvālājālairjagadgataiḥ |
āsīdraktāṃśukaiḥ kīrṇaṃ saṃdhyābhrairiva vā nabhaḥ || 35 ||

The world appeared to be covered under a crimson canopy, by the burning flames which overspread it all around, and resembled the evening sky under the parting glories of the setting sun.
