The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ब्राह्मं वपुर्हि भूतानामात्मीयं यत्पुरातनम् ।
तदेवाद्य मनोराज्यं संकल्प इति कथ्यते ॥ १५ ॥

brāhmaṃ vapurhi bhūtānāmātmīyaṃ yatpurātanam |
tadevādya manorājyaṃ saṃkalpa iti kathyate || 15 ||

All these bodies of created beings, are bed forms of Brahma;being considered in their primordial and spiritual and natural natures; and it is the mind which gives them the imaginary shapes of materiality, in its fabricated dominion of the visible world.
