The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
तदनन्तं महाकाशं महाचिद्घनमुच्यते ।
अवेद्यचिद्रूपमयं शान्तमेकं समस्थिति ॥ ५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
tadanantaṃ mahākāśaṃ mahācidghanamucyate |
avedyacidrūpamayaṃ śāntamekaṃ samasthiti || 5 ||

Vasishtha replied:—That endless great vacuum, is known as the great and solid intellect itself; but this is not to be known any more, than as a tranquil and self-existent unity.
