The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ब्रह्मविष्ण्वीश्वराद्यन्ते महाप्रलयनामनि ।
शब्दार्थे रूढिमापन्ने यच्छुद्धमवशिष्यते ॥ ६ ॥

brahmaviṣṇvīśvarādyante mahāpralayanāmani |
śabdārthe rūḍhimāpanne yacchuddhamavaśiṣyate || 6 ||

The Gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva and others, are reduced to their origin at the last dissolution of the world; and there remains only that pure source whence they have sprung.
